CPU Running at 98% Constantly and Battery Indicator on tool tray disappeared
Today I hooked my PC to my television, as I sometimes do to listen to music. I noticed the Media Player was not responding but still playing the music. I closed the program and at that point noticed that my task manager icon was showing the CPU was running at capacity. Then I noticed that my battery indicator was missing as well. I opened the task manager to see what was running the CPU usage so high. It ended up being the service host. When I closed all programs and let it sit for a few minutes, the usage decreased. I then went into my system tray settings to try and bring my battery indicator back up but it is grayed out. So I have no option of putting back in the system tray. I hate not having the battery indicator where I can see it at all times. I will never know when to save my work or when the battery is getting to a critical level. I also noticed that my programs on the taskbar keep disappearing. I have run a disk cleanup on C: Drive and a defrag. HP Support Assistant isn't showing any issues with any diagnostic that I run. Someone help??????

Hi
i updated my hp laptop to windows 10 from 8 and the touch screen not working at all since then.
i have read lots of post about this issue and nothing iv tried seems to work
i have no touch in device manager at human interface devices
the windows update has no more updates
intel updates says everything is up to date
hp updates says everything is up to date
and i even tried driver booster and nothing seems to work
i tried the F2 when rebooting and the touch works there but noting when windows comes up
please i dont know what to do anymore and i think i have read all the post in that matter

Ripple on LCD
Hello
My laptop is just 1 month old. I am noticing small ripple on one spot of the screen when the laptop shakes even gently. Even when I touch the border of the lcd or align the screen it produces small ripple on that spot and the spot is a bit brighter. Is this the issue of LCD? Is my LCD going to be dead?
How can I fix this??

a friend said it could be a driver that isnt 100percent right for my system, let me explain:
about a week or 2 ago my laptop was temporarily bricked by a windows update, i had to redo the whole os (not easy as the boot order was messed up by the update), so i did the update and the microsoft tech on the phone(he used a tool to control my system remotely) did whatever he was doing, and when i went to a streaming site i had used for old cartoons and watching mrs browns boys(cracks me up every time i watch those episodes)i saw the page doing what you see in the video, before the upate messed up my system it didnt do that, so that leads me to here, i need the RIGHT drivers, i couldnt see them when i went to the hp website, not for my os, have not been able to afford to downgrade so im stuck with 10 for now, but hp dont have drivers for this machine for 10, can someone help me?

I have a HP Pavilion 15-AU111TX . Whenever I start working on my laptop after sometime the screen starts blinking and flickering . Sometimes I see lines on screen ,sometimes the screen is totally gone .I am fed up with my new notebook .This problem occurs randomly at any time and there is no specific way of regeneration .I am from Indore (India).What should I do now ?My laptop is under warranty and I want it to be fixed very soon . Kindly reply with the solution .And I don't think so its a software fault .I have all my drivers updated ,up and running .Please let me know how to proceed .

Application HP X cam crached
my main problem is with the App for this product to view photos/videos and control the camara on ones phone or tablet.
I downloaded the Xcam App as per the instructions. My phone (the Android LG G4 6.0) will not recognize the device. My wifi is working fine, the camera is connected to the wifi as well as my phone. But when i'm trying to open the application crashed,Every negative comment i saw on the reviews for the app were related to the LG G4 products.
I've heard that this is not a problem with the camera but rather the app and the app developers. But the app was designed for the HP camera. Are there any "plug ins" i can get? Or is there an HP developed App that i can get instead fo some 3rd party app that is mentioned in the owners manual?

Small white spot on monitor
Hi!
I've a question about my new HP.
First of all it works correctly and very good, there are no problems.
I noticed that there is a little white spot on screen (also present on bios setting).
It seen only when I lower the monitor, if I have in front position it disappear.
Enclosed a photo. Any idea? I've this problem times ago with other notebook. Probably this is a common issue about oled?

HPU 160 Troubleshooting Help
Hello Everybody -- could really use some help. I inherited an HP U160 portal monitor from the IT folks. The monitor didn't have a cable so I used another Y-cable (2 USB & Micro USB) for the montior to connect to my Thinkpad.
The monitor works, but the screen is really dark. Almost impossible to read and view. But it does work.
I did try using the "+" button to increase brightness but not luck.
Any idea on how to fix?
I took the POWER Portion of the USB and connected to the wall outlet. The direct feed power didn't help.
I tried other USB ports.
My IT folks are no help and in India --- I'm remote in Pittsburgh.

Touchscreen stopped working
Recently purchased an hp Notebook 15.6" HD Touch display laptop. The touchscreen worked fine up until this morning. I am afraid that my daughter might have somehow uninstalled the driver because now it isn't even an option. Please tell me there is a way I can fix this. I have tried all of the simple fix options and none of them are working because the driver isn't even there now. How do I reinstall it? I would love to just talk with a customer service rep but can't seem to figure out a way to get ahold of a real person to save my life. Any help on either fixing the problem or speaking with a real person would be greatly appreciated.

HP Active Stylus works only partially
Hello all,
After much research, I understand this question has been posted a lot and is an issue faced among many Spectre owners. Here is my case on the topic...I recently purchased a refurbished 13-4116dx model Spectre (not sure on the year). Because it is a refurb, it only came with the charger. So, I contacted HP to advise what stylus I may buy for this laptop. They told me the Active Stylus. I purchased said stylus and while it works, I'm finding I need to apply a lot of pressure. Also, the pamphlet says that the buttons on the stylus have functions (such as backspace)...but the buttons do nothing except bring up a small circle.
Can someone advise what I can do? I had heard the Dell Active Stylus is a good alternative, but then read somewhere else that it stopped working after running Windows 10 (which is what came stock with mine). Can anyone confirm running Windows 10 and using the Dell 750 AGN?
By the way, my drivers are all up to date and so is my touch firmware.
