Sometimes the display starts to flicker, and when it gets worse sometimes vertical lines starts to appear on the display, and when I shut down and then start the laptop again, it goes.

 

I had already given the laptop to the hp service center in the past but they returned the laptop doing nothing but updating the BIOS and resetting the factory installed OS, and the report said "The device passed all  the tests, no problems found".

I myself carried out the tests by going in Diagnostics test (by pressing f2) but all the tests were passed and no failures were found , but the problem still exists.

My CD/DVD drive is not working ..  When I put a disc in I can hear it trying to boot but nothing happens

 

I am of course then unble to burn anything

 

I seen this answer in one of the forum questions..  

 

Go to Device Manager.   Click on the CD/DVD Rom drive to expand the list.   etc  etc

 

That is impossible to do if the drive doesnt actually show in there so any other help?

touchscreen disappeared after upgrading to win10  there is no touchscreen driver anywhere in device mgr. its like I never had touchscreen.says no pen and touch input is available for this display

I'm having issues with my touch screen. It suddenly stops working. When I pressed the F2 button repeatedly, to open the component testing, I can't find the touch screen panel.

 

How do I fix this? I would like to use my touch screen

I spell some drink on my keyboard and some of the buttons dont work.I want change the keyboard but I dont know where to find one.I deasemmbled the laptop and I have noticed that the keyboard is fitted permanetly with the plastic so to exchange it I need to get the whole plastick thing with the keyboard.There is no information lable at the back of the laptop regards type and model since I got it new one from the store.Is any chance someone could give me advise where to get replacment keyboard for that model please?

hello everyone

i got a HP 8570w laptop with quadro k2000m GPU , i did everything but my laptop dont detect display port !! i connect my laptop to HD tv and i have a cable that one end is go to display port in laptop and the other end goes to HDMI port of tv . i connect but nothing detected ! I did rebooted and reconnect but not a chance of signal ! i perss win + p and chosee three options but nothing happens. everybody pleaseee help me :smileyindifferent

I need an active pen for ENVY x360 15-aq101nc. This model is not in the list of the compatible products on support.hp.com. But maybe there is any active pen, which could work with my computer. Please can anybody help me?

Hello,

 

I just did a clean install of Windows 10 onto my tablet and now the touchscreen and on screen keyboard are gone. There are no drivers on the HP driver web site and if I look in the device manager there are no HID (human interface device) drivers installed. Additionally, when I right click and choose "scan for new hardware" it does not find the drivers.

Unable to update graphic driver. I have Intel Graphics 520. The latest version of it is 15.xx. However, when I checked my driver details, it shows 21.xx. I have uninstalled graphics driver and tried reinstalling. However, when I restarted, by default the driver is getting installed. Hence I am not able to install the latest update of the intel driver. Need help.

After installing synaptic touchpad driver for my hp notebook seires I am unable to solve the issue of sensitivity and multitouch features. Multi touch features is not working in my PC.

First of all my screen flickers, then I get a message that the video card has temporarily stopped working and has recovered.  Sometimes that is followed by BSOD.

 

My s/n is [Personal Information Removed], and the p/n is QJ789AV#ABA

 

The laptop is certainly out of warranty, but is there a fix to the problem?

 

The graphics device is a Radeon HD 6770M, memory is shown as 726MB and the driver I'm using is 8.882.2.3000 (20110930).  I've tried others and they don't seem to work (resolution issues).  Current resolution is 1600 x 900

I just connected a 32" monitor (A Samsung UE32D5005) to my old Pavilion Entertainment PC DV6-1220. I am using this as a desktop setup with external keyboard and mouse - and of course the monitor - letting the old computer just being the platform running this.

 

The problem with the 32" monitor is that the picture - especially text - is not very clear.

 

I updated the software of the monitor, I adjusted what can be adjusted on the monitor and I updated the driver for the PC's graphics card through 'device management'.

 

Are there anything that I can do to improve the 'view', so I will have a good expirence on this setup?

I am trying to find a replacement screen for the Beats audio Pavillion 15-p390r.  I've looked all over the internet and even bought what I thought was a replacement but was just the glass screen that wasn't installed in the little plastic bit that snaps into the main piece.  Any help would be appreciated.
