I replace the internal battery of my HP Envy 17-3270nr. Since then, the indicator of the level of charge of the battery that is at the bottom of the screen looks incorrect. When the battery is full of charge, the indicator seems empty and vice versa. It displays either 100% or 0%. There is no way to know the real level of the battery between these numbers. How could I solve this problem, please?

Helping my brother long distance on what might be going on with his HP Touchsmart 520. Looking at the attached pictures my first thought is a problem with the backlight on this all in one or the cable. I have worked on many laptops and desktops but have not yet cracked open a All in one if anyone might have a suggestion this shading on the screen so I can point him is the right direction I would appreciate it. Windows 7 not sure if 32 or 64. Thanks in advance.
I've read other posts of similar problems and the solution was redownloading some graphics program but I'm not sure if downloading the same one will solve my problem because we have different systems.
My product number is L8R69AV. I don't know the name or model of my Envy but with the product number I think that should be adequate information. Thank you very much in advance.
hi Guys! i have an hp elitedesk 800 G2, it used to work fine but now what i get when i plug it to power is 6 red flashes and 4 white flashes on the power button with some beep sound. i have tried to remove the bios and also tried pressing the power button, to no avail. after doing some research, i found that it is the graphic and video card which i do not have.
anyone with some resolution to my problem

I've seen plenty of people having the same problem, but did not find anything that would have solved my problem.
My HP Pavilion has integrated AMD Radeon R5 (Primary) and AMD Radeon R7 M260 (linked). No matter what program or game I'm running, the laptop never uses R7 M260, but just runs low FPS with the R5.
I'm using Win 10.
What I have tried:
1. Updating BIOS with latest BIOS from HP website
2. Using latest AMD Radeon drivers from HP website
3. Using latest AMD Radeon drivers from AMD website
4. Putting everything to max performance from AMD Settings
5. Putting everything to max performance from Windows power saving
6. Re-installing the Windows 10 from scratch
7. Disabling the R5 (still does not use R7, but drops FPS to 1-3)
Still, the laptop never uses R7. No matter what game, no matter how high or low graphics, the laptop uses only the R5 - no matter how low FPS.
Has anyone found a solution for this? Or have I basically paid extra to have a better graphics card, which can never be used?

I have a HP Touchsmart 610-1010pt desktop pc.
I used the Touchsmart Webcam (4.1.3303) to record video, but suddenly it stopped working. When I open de software I get a message like "Webcam not recognized/not conected. Stop all programs that are using the webcam."
At the Touchsmart Webcam software, the definitions/config button is dimmed/not enabled.
Note: When I use Skype, the camera works.

When I first bought the computer, I disabled the video camera (I don't trust them). Now I need to use Skype for work and can not find where I disabled it.
I did go through a few new computers before getting one that worked, but I'm sure this has the camera.
Any help would be appricieated.

I suddenly have a single white vertical line going through the middle of my screen. I updated all the drivers and followed all of the trouble shooting steps, but it didn't solve the issue. I then went to support and the HP website couldn't find my serial number or product key. I turned to Twitter support, and after explaining the situation the person sent me to https://t.co/dQgiDCZ1Nb where I also couldn't get support through chat because the website didn't recognize my product. Then, I called the phone number, 1-800-334-5144 and was told I had to be transferred to the business section. Then after transfer, I was told I had dialed a non-working number and the line was dead.
So, the website couldn't help me, the Twitter support couldn't help me, and customer service line couldn't help me. Where do I turn? According to my HP Support Assistant I have 23 days left of warranty, and no way of actually getting any warranty information or support.

i have a hp EliteBook 840 g3 with 16GB of ram. I have a intigarate grapfics card on it (Intel(R) HD graphics 520). when i go into Disply adapter proporties and check on the grapfics it says that i have "Total Avilabe Graohics memory: 8020" but my Dedicated video memory is only 128Mb. Acording to the internet ther should be a way to increase it if you have higher ram, i can't fint how to though. any ideas?
My ENVY 360 will not play videos either fro web based players or from players on the unit. I have tried all avenues including several calls with Microsoft, assuming it was a W10 issue.
It is apparent that the drivers for the built in Display adaptor are not working too well with windows 10, however this has been pushed back to HP as the product is still under warranty.
Can you please advise if HP are doing anything to rectify this issue? It's my business computer so can't really be dropping it in to the point of sale to have them send it off for a week or two and come back saying they've updated the display drivers only for them to fail again in 20 minutes and start the whole process off again.
HP please support this, after all it is one of your top end devices........apparently!
When I had Windows 8.1 on my laptop everything worked perfectly fine. When I installed windows 10 the backlight stopped working. Every other function key works expect F5 which used to enable backlight. I updated every driver and updated BIOS but nothing seems to work.
I have problem with gpu Radeon HD 6770М in Pavilion dv6-6179er.
For some reason, I cannot install drivers to the gpu.
After I start driver installation, or Windows try to do that, it will run for a while, but at some moment screen will go black and that's all.
After that I can only restart notebook in safety mode and delete the driver. Otherwise Windows will not lauch.
Notebook can work only on intel gpu, but its too weak.
I haven't find proper solution at the internet.
I Purchased 2 refurbished ProBook 6570b; I installed Windows 7 64 bit, and all is well. I then upgraded to 10 and the drivers for the built-in graphics card (intel 4000) crashes the computer. The systems will only work with Microsoft standard graphics drivers. I have tried installing every 64 bit version I can find (drivers for Windows 7 will not load; drivers for windows 8 and 8.1 and 10 all crash the computer). All these drivers were downloaded directly from HP support site. I have even downloaded drivers from Intel's site that indicate they will work; however, nothing seems to work. I am getting the same results on both laptops, so I find it hard to believe both have defective drivers.
Looking for any help from someone who has solved this problem.
Closed my computer down last night and left it in the office as I sometimes do, when I came in this morning I opened the laptop as normally would holding the bottom right down with my right hand whilst opening the top left with my left hand.
As I fired the computer up saw small hairline spider web of cracks in the top left hand corner, couldn't believe it had happened when I hadn't even taken the computer home.
Then I saw the thread on the forum showing that this must be a design fault. With so many similar situations have HP now started to support this and resolve it.
As with most others on here I am extremely careful with my technology and although I think the computer is excellent, this is unaccaceptable after only 7 months of use.
Would love to know if HP are now resolving these issues.

I consider buying Pavilion x360 but in my country (Croatia) they only sell Pavilion x360 13-u103nm and I heard that some versions of x360 support stylus, but I don't know if this particular version supports. I want to know if I can use stylus with this version, and which one because I would love to use it to take notes at lectures.
I have been looking for an updated graphic driver. When I go to my laptop here at HP, none of the drivers will install. They say they are not for my device. That is confusing because the picture IS of my laptop. Earlier I downloaded the Intel driver Update Utility and it found no Intel hardware. This is confusing as I have an Intel HD 4600 graphic card in this unit. I have some games that don't play full screen like they used to (black 2 inch border on both sides) so I thought it might have been time to reinstall/update the graphic drivers for this unit.
I refreshed this laptop last week basically starting it over. Everything works fine except the couple games. Does anyone know where I could download the HD 4600 graphic card drivers? Or maybe I'm just out of luck....
