I'm using YouCam 6 and my video is very grainy. I've tried adjusting the settings and I can get the video/picture brighter but not clear or non grainy/blurry.
I have also tried to use the Windos Camera and it's grainy as well.

White screen
I just received my laptop from your factory on this same issue. White screen when i turn it on. The products never fallen or been mistreated since its barely been used.

Elitebook x360 windows 10 auto-rotate stopped working after using external monitor
Plugged a HDMI monitor and after that autorotate stopped working. I can turn rotation lock on and off but that does nothing. If i go to display settings and rotate the screen i can set it to not locked and manually switch to rotated mode. If i do the same without already being in tablet mode the switching to tablet mode resets the display to landscape.
It worked fine until i pluged an external monitor. Tried setting registries and everything thats suggested on the forums here. I cant disable the device as i dont know which one it is and the devices i think might be it cant be disabled for some reason. Some people suggested firmware update, but i dont know how or where to get to that.
Even if i can get it to work again, would it get broken again once i plug in an external monitor?
Reading the forums this problem has been around for years now and no proper fix?

Returning a Product Under Warranty for Replacement or Repair due to Damage Prior Purchase
I wasn't sure if this was the right board to post this in, so I appologize in advance.
Basically my uncle bought an HP laptop a few months ago (I've been a bit lax about looking into this, but my life's been hectic), and it turned out that the laptop was damaged. As a result, he brought it to me in hopes that I could either fix it or get it fixed.
Basically, the screen is busted. The liquid crystal has spilt inside the display. There is no damage on the screen or outside of the product, so I assume that it might've either been damaged during production or otherwise strongly jostled within the package.
We took it back to the store, but they refuse to replace it or refund us. As replacing it or purchasing a replacement screen would be expensive (the customer support that I contacted said that it would cost $250 for repairs), I was hoping that I could use the warrenty to do either of the above; I was hoping to either send it in for repairs, to be replaced, or to get a replacement screen that I could install myself.
As-is, it's still under warrenty for a year. Theoretically I could possibly hook it up to a secondary screen, but I'd prefer to fix the product itself.
Any help?

Switchable Graphics Issue after New Harddrive Installation
Hello. I have a HP Pavilion dm4-3011tx Beats Edition Entertainment Notebook PC with switchable graphics between the in integrated graphics and a AMD Radeon HD 7470M. Prior to the new harddrive, I had AMD Catalyst Control Center but as of now they have a new version that is not compatible with my Radeon. I've tried a few of versions of their old ones, from other sites and from AMD themselves to no avail.
In my Device Manager all that is listed under 'Display adapters' is my integrated graphics, 'Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000'.
I've tried downloading the specific drivers for my graphics card but that hasn't seemed to work either, nothing so far has got my computer to recognise the graphics card. Any help would be much appreciated.

ZBook Studio G3 Mobile always boots dimmed
I've set this multiple times in Advanced Power settings for the Balanced Plan that I'm using (multiple settings -- related to display dimming) but, no matter what I do, my notebook boots to 50% display brightness every time I start/restart.

Screen blinks for a moment and audio gets low and gets to normal
Hello,
Facing two issues-
#1 Screen blinks for a moment- Observing an issue with my laptop where the screen blinks for a moment and gets display back. e.g. Just as we blink our eyes or a tube light starts i.e. black screen appears with a flash in middle of the screen and then regain it's original display.
#2 Sometimes audio gets low and gets to normal automatically.
For both above points I tried different types of files.

My scree not displaying exact colors, i don't understand what happend . i just bought a month ago i have been facing the issue from one month but i couldn't fix this? i will just show you the example picture, and the display also not looking good i displaying little blur

Re: HP stream notebook - backlight problem
I have an issue with my HP Stream Notebook 11-R015WM series. I replaced the screen as mine was broken and now I have no backlight on the new screen. It was a PERFECT match to the old screen model wise so I don't understand why it won't work. I then proceeded to put the old screen back in but now it doesn't work either, backlight wise. I can take a flashlight to the screen and can see what's there but nothing withoiut it. What is going on and what can I do to fix it?

Broken hinge and won't power on
The left hinge on my laptop broke and is out of warranty. This is the 2nd HP laptop to do this. I'm not sure if it is related but now the laptop will no longer power on. It came on briefly for a few seconds the other day, which leads me to believe it must somehow be the connection. Any ideas on how to test or fix?

Brightness Control (FN Shortcut) Not Working After Waking Laptop from Sleep/Hibernation
Upon restoring my computer I had to install the HP 'HotKey Support' from the support website in order to get the brightness control shortcuts to work again. The brightness can be adjusted manually but it's irritating to have to go into the settings/controls to do so every time.
Once the software component was downloaded and installed the brightness FN shortcut worked fine, but after putting my computer to sleep and waking it, or after exteneded laptop use, the FN (F8/9) stops working and the only thing that fixes it is to restart the computer.
This was never an issue when I first got the laptop- it only started after I had to restore it.
How do I fix this issue? I have already disabled 'adaptive brightness' in the 'advanced power management' section of the Control Panel to no avail. All drivers are recent and HP Support is installed.
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!

ELitebook 8470P is not connected to 3 displays
hi,
I have an Elitebook 8470P that is unable to connect to 3 displays (include the built in display). I have 2 external monitors that i wish to link up to but seems only 1 is working. using docking station also unsuccessful.
Processor : Inter (R) Core(TM) i5- 3320M ; windows 7 64 bit. I have 1 port for VGA display and another display port, whenever i want to extend my display to another 2, it cannot be done, i have to choose either 1 of the monitor instead having it both, so currently i can only have 2 display ( built-in & monitor), i wanted to extend to another 1 monitor but it keeps on showing blank, but the system detect 3 display, Please help. i have tried many solutions but unable to proceed. any suggestion ? if i am missing some steps here

Descrete graphic only does not work after Windows 10 Creators Update
I have been running the system fine for several months with the onboard Intel Graphis disabled in the BIOS, using the laptop screen and two DP-screens at the same time on the descrete Quadro M1000M. (Via the port replicator)
After upgrading my HP ZBook with Windows 10 to Creators Update. I got the black screens issue. After enabling the integrated Intel graphics in the BIOS I was able to get picture on the laptop screen. And after applying this hotfix:

I was able to get picture on my external screens connected to the discrete NVIDIA card.
But when I force discrete graphics only in the BIOS again, I still get black screens. This was not an issue before Creators Update.
I would like to have the laptop screen and the external screens all on the NVIDA discrete graphic card again and not have to use the slower onboard Intel graphics.

Issues
I Brought an extended warranty for my laptop incase of an emergency and now it is telling me that its invalid as I brought my pc from currys? If this is the case why have they taken my money. Also my laptop after playing one film when you first turn it on has to be restarted again to get it working properly or it will jsut continually say loading. It work after I updated drivers last week, but then windows 10 updated and it stopped again.
