I just buy and install my new HP ProBook 450 G4 with Intel HD Graphics 620 and dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GeForce 930MX.

All drivers are update using HP Support Assistant.

Graphics and resolution looked fine at firts impact, anyway in some windows ( even system windows ) text and icons has a different render from the other PC Windows. 

 

For example icons and text on Desktop are fine and defined. But text and icons in Windows Device Manager ( for example ) are out of focus.

 

I try to uninstall and reinstall Graphics Driver or to use only one grapchics car per time, but nothing change.

Is a problem of Windows 10 or is a problem of my ProBook ?

I had to reinstall my HP 5740 and reregister the same printer.  Now I constantly get a pop up saying "Welcome to your new HP.  All Set." Even though I click on done or click on "x" to close, it keeps coming back.  How do I get rid of this?

Forgot to also say:  The HP Envy had a defective hard drive.  When I got it back I had to reinstall and reregister the HP 5740 printer.

My laptop restarted and now it's screen is blank. My laptop works with external display but it's internal display not working . After that problem occurred I reinstalled windows from windows 10 to windows 7 64 bit ultimate using external screen and now when I install graphic driver for and hd 6470m for external screen it is showing weird artifacts and shutters . And please can you tell me does my laptop has both and and intel hd graphics supported?

screen goes blank in the middle of graphics driver insatallation in HP Pavilion dm4 Notebook PC beat edition 

o.s is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Service Pack 1. Driver is downloaded from hp website. The same problem is coming in windows 10 .But in windows 8.1 there is no problems of graphics.

 

so, what to do i also tried to install from AMD auto detect software but it is not downloading any driver & showing driver downloaded successfully.

Just curious if anyone else is having difficulties imaging the ZBook Studio G3 using SCCM 2012 R2. For whatever reason the Intel graphics driver does not install either by using auto apply driver or apply driver package. I have even tried running the setup.exe using the command line cmd.exe /c setup.exe -s.

 

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi, I was hoping to get some help.  The side of my laptop cracked open and now the screen is not working.  I've taken it in and they advised the VGA cable is damaged.  Does anyone know where I can get a cable and if I can fix it myself or do I need a new screen?  I have a HP Pavilion g6.

I have been having this problem since day one about a year ago and hp support has been trying to help me to no avail. I brought this laptop about 11 months ago. At first I thought it was Cortana problem, then they turned it completely off and I still get this problem. 

The problem is this small rectangle window will randomly pop up near the bottom left hand corner. And there is no way to get rid of it except to close the laptop and re login. When that happens, it will sometime opens up a lot of file explorers because the explorer is in the small window. I sometime notice that there is this "radar" round wave thing in the small window area. As though this thing is triggered by a sudden noise or something. Couldn't figure out that part. And now I couldn't get connected with hp support (have tried many times the last few days). Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

How do I find a part number for a touch screen control board?  It was taken out by someone who claimed they could fix it and then lost the part.  Also need the screws that mount the bezel to the lcd.

This computer is pretty new and driving me crazy with the fonts continually changing. My daughter has the same computer and it does the same thing.  Several of her friends have the same problem so it is not an isolated problem. The fonts change continutally and we can not figure out how to stop this.  Just typing this I had to press Control 0 about 10 times to get it back to normal size or even a size I can see.  I am about to throw this computer away and buy another brand.  I have to take several timed tests for work very soon and I will not use this computer for fear of the time I will waste just trying to keep the fonts from changing.  Is there any button or lock or ANYTHING I can push to keep this from happening?????    I have read that many people have had the same problem but did not see any answers.

Ever since I've owned this laptop, the webcam has never worked.

 

Whenever I try to use the camera, it says it cannot locate it. When I go onto Device Manager > Imagining devices > HP Wide Vision HD, it says, 'Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)

To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer.'

 

I have read so many forums. I have tried to update the driver, it says it's up to date. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Still. Nothing works. This happened with my HP Envy. If this cannot get this resolved I'm staying away from HP for good. I've had enough. 

 

If anyone can help I will be so grateful.

Hello!

 

I have a problem installing drivers for my videocard AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5000 Series. As I know, there are 2 methods of switching videocards on the laptops with Intel and ATI. While using Win7 I exactly remember that I had fixed method on my Catalyst Control Center. Now, when I installed Windows 10, almost all drivers which I hadn't downloaded use dynamic switching of the graphics card, which my laptop does not support. The drivers for the fixed method were designed for the 7th version of the OS and Win10 just does not respond them. 

 

So, what can I do in this situation (excluding Windows reinstalling)?

Hello - I purchased a new HP Spectre x360 convertible 15-bl0XX laptop today (6/13).

 

After installation of wireless bluetooth mouse (HP), looks like the mouse stops working/connecting with the laptop periodically (no special usage of the laptop). It happens when using IE, WE, Office, etc ...

Tried using different bluetooth mouse - same issue.

 

Please advise and provide solution.
