HP SCREEN DAMAGE UNDER ADP

Dear Sir
Regarding CASE Number 5000917440.There is a big black spot on my laptop screen and it's increasing in size day by day.My laptop is covered under ADP protection and when I tried to contact customer case they dismissed my claim by saying that it is not covered under ADP whereas it is clearly mentioned in your ADP terms and condition document (I have given the links below) that it is covered under ADP.As a college student, I require my laptop every day for a variety of purposes ranging from doing projects to studying for my examinations and with the damaged screen and such a negative response from the customer care team I am suffering.I have been buying HP products for many years and as a valuable customer don't expect such unprofessional response from a company of your stature as I have a very high opinion of your company.Please look into the matter ASAP.Thank you.

How can I get the keyboard background light to function on HP Omen?

I just got a new laptop, HP Omen with red characters and built-in keyboard background light. Except the background light does not work. I can't get the background light on by pressing any FN key. Product user guide did not help. Anyone, please?

I want to disable the supremely annoying zoom that occurs when I'm using the touchpad. Too often when using the touchpad, my screen zooms way out. I've tried some of the solutions that I found on the forum but none of the posted replies work for me. Can someone please help me with this? Thanks!

I brought this HP laptop abroad. In Hyderabad where can I get the alternate HP display cable.

 

I went to HP service center in secunderabad, they told that this product is from abroad, we don't have access to get the alternate cable.

 

Please suggest me any alternate HP display cable

Which pen should I to work with HP Pavilion x360 ?

Hi

 

I just purchase my HP Pavilion x360  because of the windows ink workspace. I know this is touch screen but I have difficulty to find the correct pan to write on its screen (15 inches). On its HP video, I saw "Microsoft Surface Pen" but I'm not quite sure if it can really work out in this computer. Can someone give me a suggestion?

Occasionally but more frequently, my screen behaves strangely.

 

Without me touching anything it will;

  1. Judder the screen image.
  2. Display small circles that come and go and move up and down.
  3. Resize windows & images on the screen.
  4. Delete emails in my Mail inbox.
  5. Cause the touch pad pointer to move around and not follow my directions.
  6. Not allow me to open or close programs or do an on-screen shutdown.

 

I have to press the Power On button to shut down and reset my computer and even, on some occasions, unplug mains power and remove the battery to enable shut down.

I have virus checked a number of times and no virus’s are detected.

I have upgraded Windows 10 but the problem still persists.

 

This behaviour can occur at any time but also seems to be activated whenever I move the computer or reposition the screen on it’s hinges

 

Any ideas please?

No display on notebook - only via HDMI external monitor

No display on notebook.

 

When plugged into HDMI it acts as the main display, when detecting only showing 1 display, not recognising the notebook display.

 

Notebook hadn't been used in a few weeks.

my hdmi port is not working nor is my wirless display i have run the diagnostics but it keeps coming up with a software error and will not complete. i have the latest drivers according to hp support services program. any suggestions as i am at a loss as to what to try next ?

Blank Screen, No Sound

Recently, I went to use my HP Pavillion 15-n012nr and when I opened up the lid on it, I turned it on, but its screen was blank and there was no sound coming from the speakers.

Upon hooking it up first to our smart TV, the TV screen displayed everything as it should on the laptop screen (itself) and sound eminated from the TV's speakers.  I also attached my laptop to a separate monitor and again, the monitor displayed what my laptop should have on its screen, and I got sound out of the laptop's speakers.

 

When I tried to reboot it so as to wipe the hard drive and reinstall the OS and associated drivers, it would go to the sign in screen, instead of displaying the HP logo so that I could follow the steps to allow me to reinstall the OS.

 

What has happened to my computer?

Spectre x360 Pen Issues? Not even compatible?

I just bought this laptop with the i7 processor, and have experienced nothing but problems. Within the first week, I got an error message saying that the fan was unable to work, and had to bring it back to Best Buy to get it exhanged. Now in week two (with 2nd brand new laptop) the pen, which is one of the main reasons why I bought the Spectre x360 is very glitchy. I checked the user forums with HP Support, and tried all of the potential solutions as recommended in this forum. It seems this user did not find a solution, and as a loyal HP customer, for now, I need to know what solution you are offering. Without an acceptable solution, I am ready to return the laptop, and buy a Mac which operates flawlessly.

The stylus was provided in the sealed package with the Spectre, and is identical to the one being offered on the HP website. 

 Please advise what solutions you have to offer.

HP Spectre x360 weird clicking noise

Yesterday my HP Spectre started making a clicking noise on the bottom right whenever pressure is put on it. It's a small problem, but is pretty annoying.

 

I've seen other people also have this problem, but no solution seems to have been found? From the outside the laptop looks fine but the clicking noise persists.

On this machine, can i use the Geforce Experience application to udate my nvidea drivers? Or does it not give me the correct drivers? I have updated my drivers using the application a few times. If its not the correct drivers, how do i fix that? Roleback drivers? Or Download the latest from here?

ADP SCREEN DAMAGE PROTECTION

I had a talk with the customer care team and they are again saying that the laptop is not covered under ADP.How is this possible when the purpose of buying ADP was to get my laptop insured in cases of damage like this.It is so frustrating to see how HP a reputable global company fails to satisfy its customer relationship.

In the above link, it's clearly mentioned that "Dark spots in localized areas, an example of Mura defects"  are not covered under standard warranty but covered under ADP and mine is a similar case so why is HP constantly disregarding my issue when I am covered under ADP.

As you can see the issue is same as given in the support hp link mentioned above and therefore is covered under ADP.

I know that the "display is damage which is not covered under the HP standard limited warranty"  and I agree to that but why are they telling me this again and again when I have bought the ADP and am covered under it and they should replace the damaged screen under ADP scheme.

 

Also, I have seen previous instances of similar cases like this which were not entertained by HP at first but on consistent customer perseverance they were considered, like the one given below

I would like to ask why does a customer have to suffer so much even when he is covered under the policies of warranty of a global organisation like HP. It is my humble request to please reconsider and solve my case as soon as possible.

I don't know how this happened. I turned it on and the screen image was inverted. Haven't done any downloads. When I tried to correct using "Display" in control pannel,image is sideways.Thats the best I can get.Anyone have any suggestions?
