I bought nice , quite expensive notebook HP spectre x360 15. 16Gb 1tb SSD. I was really happy and hardly wait to get "machine", but when i got it , problems start acuuring.

Due to i ordered notebook form Germany ( im form Slovenia, where HP doesn’t sell this machine), everything was in German language. First think i did was formatting SSD disk, and make fresh install of English Windows 10 64bit.

Problem start showing, when i start computer from off state.

1. display is showing Bios etc.
2. Display shows windows 10 logo, then start loading, and then display is going black.

I was figuring what is going on, so i connect computer from HDMI port  to TV. ON TV i saw windows, it loaded ok etc..

 So bottom line is. Windows is ok, problem is with Intel HD 620 display drivers.  Computer have 2 display card. I updated all drivers, also BIOS.

I notice that when i DISABLE intel display, and restart computer, then LCD display is showing on notebook.

But of course drivers and display is only WINDOWS10 default. Immediately when i ENABLE INTEL display. Notebook screen goes black.

I tried to make clone ( display 1 and 2) on INTEL settings, and settings doesn’t find display 2?! Only TV display.

 

So bad feeling, that i feel terribly to pay such amount and have such stupid problems.

 

I will be really glad to get some help, how to solve this crazy problem.

Hello, I have a problem with my webcam. I only use it for skype calls and last night when I tried using it again, Skype couldn't detect my webcam. When opening Youcam, the below message appeared. 

 

I have not installed any software recently and my laptop has been working OK. 

 

How can I fix this?

My screen is constantly flipping from landscape to portrait and the mouse flips as well making it nearly impossible to use my computer. I want to lock the screen so it never happens again but all the advice I have read online doesn't work. The alt-ctrl and arrows don't work. It sometimes takes me hours of rebooting and messing around with anything and everything and per chance I can usually get it back but its never the same way twice. Please help!!!

I have HP NOTEBOOK 15 AY 516TX . the specification says that it contains a AMD RADEON R5 430 dedicated graphyics card.
but in device maneger or in hp support application shows that is contain AMD 330 graphics. what is the problem?

     Just  two months ago, my HP Laptop did a system update. After, the update my computer had lines in  it as well as certain keys on the keyboard such as my arrow keys no longer work.  Has vertical colored lines running through it on one side of the screen. How can I remove it and approximately how much to fix?

Hello all,

 

I recently started noticing a display issue on my HP ENVY TouchSmart m6-k025dx (running Windows 10). When I open the display, there is a bar on the right side of the screen that is not being imaged on the screen (see picture below). Typically, this starts out as flickering lines then ultimately turns into a black bar. The other 3/4 of my screen on the left is still usable and working, it's just the right 1/4 is a black bar and not working. I have restarted the computer a few times and also in safe mode, but the display remains the same. I am assuming this to be a hardware issue and will probably have to be repaired for it to get fixed, but I am out of warranty and willing to hear other possible ideas or solutions. Thank you.

1- Ok. So let's start with the screen brightness, I have been able to adjust the sreen brightness, but then something happened and I can't adjust it anymore. the brightness stuck on high on my HP G2B17EA laptop. 2- intel driver is uninstalled and I can't install it. 3- I have been able to do some gestures with the touchpad such as "two finger scrolling" and doing right select by touching the pad with two of my fingers at the same time but suddenly I can't do any of these and I don't know why. 4- I can't make my laptop sleep there used to be "sleep" button with "shut down" and "restart" but it isn't there anymore. NOTE: I AM USING WINDOWS 8.1 "32-BIT OPERATING SYSTEM , X64-BIT BASED PROCESSOR"

Hi,

 

Just got my new laptop, 

HP Spectre x360 13-ac041nd

 

Waited for this model because of the possibility to use a Pen.

All photo's of this device show a pen, does not come in the box in Holland.

Although the included sleeve does have a special place to put the pen...

 

Called HP, had a discussion with them about this.

They confirmmed a Pen could be used and gave me a part number (K8P73AA).

 

Ordered the pen with the laptop.

Does not work. 

The laptop apparently is so new the HP support website does not know it yet.

So I cannot check for the latest drivers.

 

Where can I get the supported drivers for my model laptop and how do I get the pen to work?

 

And NO, I do not want to use a Stylus.

If the pen does not get supported I will return the laptop and wait for the new Lenovo Yoga X1.

And I do not want to do that...

 

Anybody know which driver is needed?

Is the pen supplied with the laptop anywhere else?

Which drivers are used there?

Anyone using a stylus with the Spectre x360 model 13-w063nr  product ID X7V22UA#ABA?  I purchased it in early December 2016 and at the time there was not stylus compatiblity.  

 

HP support hasn't been much help and I see that the newer models now provide stylus support so I am wondering if I can use a stylus yet (or at all) and if so, what styluses are others using?

MS did an update for windows 10 and again I have lost my ability for dual monitors. Does not even recognize/detect another monitor plugged in.  I have downloaded the latest drivers and nothing.  Even tried my original fix when I got windows 10 .  Install windows 8 driver and this did not work now.

 

 

What do I do to fix.

I am trying to order a Skinit for my notebook as one of my dogs jumped on and scratched it.  Skinit does not show my model # on their selections.  Can anyone out there recommend a more common model # that is about the same size as my notebook for reference.  Thanks so much.

 How to keep keyboad light enabled-It stays on for a few seconds only.

 

Touching any botton the the keyboard will turn the keyboard backlite. But, it stays on for a few seconds only.

 

What is the best way to keep the keyboard backlite enabled all the time?

This is an internal DVD drive without an external eject button.  Any ideas on how to get the DVD out of the player?

I had bought this laptop a few days ago and and the fn brightness key doesnt seem to be working.So far i havent tried installing or updating any drivers on my lap and would appreciate some step by step guidance on fixing this issue. Thank you.

Hi guys,

 

The HP 250 G3 Laptop series has specific HP drivers that it needs - if you try and install an Intel driver for the Intel HD 4400 graphics card it will give you an error screen.

 

I can no longer play my favorite game because it freezes up due to the extremely outdated HP drivers (I am using the latest on from 2015!).

 

I think I have found a way to manually install an updated Intel driver for my Intel HD 4400 graphics card - if I do this will it cause problems or even break my laptop?

 

Any help would be appreciated.
