I would like to know if it is possible to use the physical keyboard in tablet mode. I want to use an external monitor and then fold the computer so that the keyboard is face-up, but whenever I flip the laptop more than 180 degrees, the keyboard becomes disabled. Is there a way enable the keyboard in tablet mode?

Has Anyone Tried an N-Trig Stylus With Spectre x360 Late 2016 (w0XX)Models?
So I've contacted HP support a few times, and they kept telling me that the late 2016 Spectre x360s do indeed have digitizers but they don't have a pen out for it. However, they told me that an N-Trig pen should work to some degree with it, is anyone able to confirm/deny this?

I can't get my HP active pen to work with my HP Envy x360 laptop, Bestbuy said it would work with the computer when I purchased them both at the same time. Can't get help from HP because from the support page it dosen't recognize the product code or the serial number for the pen...HELP!

Installed wrong Touchscreen driver, now the touchscreen rapidly presses by itself.
Hey guys, I have a 13" FHD Spectre x360. It's the 2017 model.
I installed a touchscreen driver from here. Unfortunately, I didn't realise it was for the wrong model (15" UHD) until too late.
Anyway, the driver (which is "firmware" BTW) installed itself fine. But afterwards, the touchscreen began activating by itself; It would rapidly tap out an ascending vertical line of touches halfway across the screen.
This made Windows & the Bios unusable, since touch input is activated in both. I initially entered Bios hoping to rollback the driver/firmware update, but backed out since the ghost touches began messing around with the bios settings. I eventually managed to disable the touchscreen from within Windows. However, this means I have no touchscreen.
I also tried System Restore, which didn't work.
Any solutions guys?

In some cases my Screen is not turning on wake up
In some cases once my computer get into sleep mode. I can'y get the screen to work when I open the lid. i try to press any of the keyboard or the mouse or the Start button but it is not working.
I need to force a restart to get it working.

Dedicated video memory is showing 512Mb instead of 2Gb
Hello,
I have bought a HP 15 BA021AX model laptop recently beliveing this is good for gaming. When i checked on Monitor options in device manager it is not showing the dedicated graphic card. And , When i check adapter properties it is showing dedicated memory as 512MB of graphic memory and total memory as 2287MB but when i bought the laptop i believed it has 2GB dedicated graphic card. I am all confused. Please explain this.

mousepad malfunctions on Elitebook 8570W
Hi!
I've had my laptop for 5 years now, and the mousepad is starting to malfunction. After using the laptop for some time, the mousepad can't move the cursor anymore. I'm still able to move the cursor with the orange mouse thingy in the keyboard and the right, middle and left click buttons above and under the mousepad still function. After a few seconds the mousepad 'unfreezes' and works again, but then I am no longer able to scroll by using two fingers. The only way to regain functionality is to restart the computer, which takes half an hour. About half an hour later I get the same error again.
I've updated the drivers, but no success. Can someone help me out?

Blue screen
I have HP Pavilion dv7-6163us. Every time it went to sleep for a period of time it will just come back on by itself in blue screen showing the error below. How do i fix this?

Same problem here.
Laptop in tent mode, screen goes off according to power saving settings, the device isn't sleeping yet. Touching the screen won't wake it up, keyboard and touchpad are disabled and would be unconfortable to reach anyway, the power button puts the system to sleep (the screen flashes on briefly in the process). Touching the volume buttons works, but it's inpractical.
It can't be a security feature because the screen can still be turned on without going thru login. It's either a bug or design oversight.
The ideal behaviour would be for the screen to get on when touched, hope it gets fixed.

Graphic driver problem
Hello i am having a problem with installing my graphic driver.
My hard disk stopped working after an overheat occured, i had a hard disk from a scrapped sony VAIO sve151a11w.
I attached it and installed all the compatible hp drivers, for some reason AMD auto detect keeps installing AMD Radeon HD 7400M and my laptop uses 6470M. I can't find the driver signature for it, even after installing AMD Display drivers. I uninstalled AMD Control center and the display drivers, then reinstalled it still nothing works it automatically installs 7400M.

Display goes black.
This is an Envy 17t-n100 laptop running windows 7 (64bit). I had it just over 1 year now (just out of warranty, go figure). It's been ruuning just fine for one year then suddenly one day while using it the screen goes black. The power stays on, the fans keep running but the laptop is unresponsive. I have to hold the power button down for a couple seconds before it'll restart. The screen comes back after a reboot. Some times it'll die during reboot and some times it'll work for a couple of weeks with no problems.The problem is very intermittent. I called HP support but since it was a month out of warranty they basically said to go pound sand. My local repair places said that if it's the video card the whole motherboard needs to be replaced but that this particular MB isn't available. I paid $1200 for this laptop and now it's a paper weight. Sure hope someone can help. Thanks.
